Matei Răzvan Constantin, whom his friends know as R.M.C. or Mateiu, is one of the thousands of young people in Romania who are trying to change their lives through music. What in his troubled childhood was just a way to escape everyday life has become a passion and a dream with career potential. R.M.C. loves the respect that the inhabitants of Ferentari show, and he doesn’t hide his admiration for the Roma people’s traditions and the way they manage to stay united. Mateiu’s life story is, in fact, that of any child from a family without possibilities, harshly tried by life and matured early, totally built on the path to follow — in his case, music!
