At the Avdives Khetanes Festival, actress Alina Serban gives us a wonderful performance about the power to achieve the impossible, about the effort to make peace with the past and with one’s own identity, deconstructing through humanity and empathy the stereotypes associated with the Roma.
On Thursday, August 25, from 20:30, “The best child in the world”, an autobiographical one-woman-show, can be seen on the stage in Piața Ferentari, free of charge, and will be followed by a discussion with the actress and director Alina Şerban.
“The best child in the world” tells the bright story of a Roma girl who, after an adolescence in which she faces poverty and remains without parents, finds the strength to refuse a predictable destiny.
