The launch conference of „Avdives, khetanes!” project has been presented in Covasna County press, where the partnership with Belin commune contributes to sustainable development of the place.
Avdives, khetanes project has been launched in a conference. „Avdives Khetanes!” is a project implemented by Amfiteatru Foundation in partnership with Belin Community Development Association and the City Hall of Sector 5, with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the SEE and Norway Grants as part of the Local Development Program.
„Avdives Khetanes!” aims to implement a remedial educational program for students with risk of of dropping out of school or functional illiteracy, in Belin commune, Covasna County and Ferentari neighborhood, Bucharest. Developed at community level this includes weekly lessons, focused on literacy, closing educational gaps and improving school records, for small groups of children, as well as training teachers in new experiential pedagogic techniques.
